Appraisal Group of Western Colorado, LLC has been the premier appraisal service provider in the greater Gunnison and Hinsdale Counties for the past 30 years. And now, Alamosa, Saguache, Rio Grande, and Mineral Counties.

Our name reflects our expanding coverage area and service, but we continue our same dedication to service for our local and out of town clients. Our services are provided with the care and urgency that is required by our clients. With a staff of Residential and Commercial Appraisers, we can assist you in a timely and professional manner.

Our team

Tara J. Lambert

Tara Lambert has been in Gunnison since 1984, and working as a full time appraiser since 1990. She has grown into Appraisal Group of Western Colorado, LLC to provide educated, fair, unbiased real estate values for Gunnison and Hinsdale Counties, in any capacity needed (loans and refinances, estates, gifting, asset division, consulting) and trains new appraisers coming into the industry as well. She enjoys her family and hobbies including ballet, officiating basketball, and recreating in the always beautiful Gunnison Country.

Ryan L Johnson

Ryan was raised in the San Luis Valley, Graduating from Alamosa High School and then Western State College in 2005 with accounting and economics degree. His wife Vicki and he purchased The Sign Guys and Gal! in 2005 which Vicki still operates today. Ryan is a Certified Residential Appraiser covering both the San Luis and Gunnison Valley’s. Ryan and Vicki and their three children recently returned full time to Alamosa where Ryan operates a satellite office for the Appraisal Group. When not at work, you can typically find Ryan competing on the national archery tour, camping, fishing, hunting, skiing or doing just about anything in the Colorado mountains.
